Guess How Much I Love You

Today I said, "Kaylee, do you know how much I love you?"

"How?" she said.

I stretched my arms out wide and said, "I love you THIS MUCH!".

She told me that the loved me too. Then she stretched her arms out wide and said:

"You love me this much. Well.... I AM that much."

ER Visit

Kaylee has been really sick with croup. A few nights ago her coughing and weezing got so bad that we decided to take her to the ER. While were were there she was given an epinepherine breathing treatment and a shot of steroids. While the nurse was preparing to stick Kaylee's leg with the needle, I could tell that she (Kaylee) had a bad feeling. The nurse swabbed her leg with an alcohol wipe and told her that she would feel a little pinch but not to worry because it would make her feel all better. At that, Kaylee covered her eyes with her arm, lay back in Michael's lap, and declared, "I don't want to see this!"

My poor baby. I didn't want to see it either! The Dr sent her home with oral steroids and she is back to her normal self. I am so relieved to see her healthy and happy:)

bangs

I forgot to tell you that I got a haircut. More specifically, I got bangs. I haven't had any since I was 13 and i love them. Thank you Heather for giving me a haircut that I love! We all know how hard those are to come by.

and if anyone is in Rexburg anytime between now and September you need to stop by Evan's Hair College and have Heather fix your hair. She is a natural. and I love her.

pillow talk

Last night I was laying across Michael's arm, trying to fall asleep.  He began to snore and since I was uncomfortable anyway, I pulled his arm from underneath me and laid it across his chest.

"Michael, you're snoring"

"No I'm not! I've been awake this whole time" he replied rather defensively, and then said, "I've been thinking about inhaling objects."

???

"Objects???   Like... toothbrushes... or toasters?"

"No... shhhh."

At first I thought he must be thinking about his Anatomy and Physiology class because they are studying the respiratory system. But the more I thought about it, the more ridiculous inhaling objects sounded.

Naturally, he has no memory of our little chat last night.

loves

After the praying, reading, and singing I told the girls they needed to go to sleep and I walked out of their room. When I left it was just the two of them in their bed.
When I came back a few hours later to check on them I found this.
