Mindy

My Aunt Mindy passed away this past Wednesday after a long battle with cancer. My grandparents and all the brothers and sisters were able to be with her in Missouri when she passed.
I am so grateful for all the love in our family. I'm thankful that we were all able to be together at the family reunion last month. I love you all so much!

CA

We are in California! It was totally unexpected and we made the decision to leave last Thursday night and left the next morning. So here we are! We are going to be here at my Grandpa's for about the next four weeks. Michael will be making some repairs to his house and when he's done we'll head back to Idaho. We are so happy to be here! We love being with our Grandpa Christensen! He is already Lily's best friend again:)

Kaylee wanted these goggles on while we were at Clark and Amy's. I put them on her and she left them for like ten minutes! It was so funny!

Grandpa stopped the ice cream truck yesterday so the girls could have a treat. It was YUMMY! They even switched! What sharing girls:)

Fair

We took the girls to the Fair in Blackfoot last week. It was kind of a long drive but we had so much fun! Both of the girls LOVE animals and they loved seeing all of them. Lily was a little freaked when we got close to the cows because she's never seen one up close. Those things are enormous! She warmed up a little though and touched a baby cow:)

I know you can't tell, but this horse was HUGE!!!

She had so much fun feeding the goats!

These baby goats were so tiny and cute!!!

The goats were eating the crumbs out of their stroller and Lily was saying "No! Don't do that!"

Kaylee's Birthday

We had a happy day on Kaylee's birthday. I made pizza and a cake and she liiiked it!!! I don't have too many pictures because she does NOT cooperate very well:)

1 year old!

Eating her pizza

After she had her cake

This is what happens when daddy gets us dressed! (she's wearing Kaylee's pants and it was like 95 degrees outside)

More Reunion

Our pictures will be out of order for the next few days. I have a lot of Family Reunion pictures that I want to post but they are all on my mom's camera. Hopefully I will be able to put them up in the next week or so... I also have a few of Kaylee's birthday. So we will be going a little back and forth!

These were taken on our way out to NY. The girls did SO well! They slept during most of both flights and almost ALL of the 4 hour layover!

I will post more maybe next week:)

Family Reunion

We had our Howe Family Reunion in Pennsylvania a few weeks ago. It was so much fun! I love my family so much and it was so nice to spend a week with everyone. My dad and all his siblings were able to come and MOST of our cousins were there. There were 9 cousins who couldn't make it so it was sad not to have everyone. Some of my dad's cousins were also there with their families. All together we had over 60 people gathered together for our little reunion. It was a blast! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family and I am so grateful for the friendships we share! I love you all so much!!!

Sunday

I know we have a lot of carousel pictures, but it's our favorite thing to do!

This is where Kaylee and I sit when we ride on the carousel, on a bench behind Lily. She doesn't like to ride the horses. Maybe next year:)

Okay I do not let my kids drink soda... very often;) Especially not caffeine. But she was really sad and we thought this might cheer her up:)

Here's Kaylee drinking milk. MUCH healthier:)

I took this before we went to church this morning.

Well, we've had a wonderful little day today! We went to church, like we do every Sunday. Lily was very excited to go to nursery all morning and then when we got there she was shy for the first time ever! But she didn't put up a fuss about going in and it turned out to be just like any other Sunday. Lily loves nursery and she LOVES her teachers!
Some of our friends at church gave us a bunch of zucchini so we had Zucchini Alfredo for dinner and then I made Zucchini Bread. YUMMY!
Tomorrow we leave for Pennsylvania for our Howe family reunion. We are SOO excited! Our flight leaves Salt Lake at 11:45 tomorrow night and we have a four hour layover in Georgia before taking off for New York. Yikes. Not so excited about that part. But we're going to have a fun week and we can't wait!
