We dumped some Martha Stewart craft glitter into our homemade finger-paint and it was preeeeeeeety.
I hated the finger-paint recipe we used so I'm not going to post it.
If anyone has any suggestions for an awesome recipe PLEASE TELL ME. I've been searching for 4 years! We try a new recipe every time and there aren't any that I love. Same goes for play-dough.
When you find a finger paint one- post it please! :) Even if thats in four more years. ;)
ReplyDeleteHere is a recipe my mom always made when we were growing up. I always loved it. Super soft!
ReplyDelete4 cups of flour
1 cup salt
2 tsp shortening
2 tsp alum (you can find it in the spice area of the store)
2 cups boiling water.
Mix all together and add the food coloring you desire. Or wait until you can portion it out and add it then. Then knead with a little flour for 5 minutes. Store in ziplock bags.
That's for play-dough. Sorry! I should have put that in there somewhere. ;)
