Purmela

Yesterday we went to visit a piece of land in Purmela, Texas which is owned by Eddie's cousin. This house belonged to Eddie's grandparents and he spent a lot of time there as a child. His dream is for the whole family to all live on this property and have animals and a huge garden and become completely self-sufficient. Sounds like a plan to me;)

Texas Randomness

These pictures are in reverse order. I don't like when that happens

We celebrated Eddie's birthday. He is 39.

The kids got to blow out their own candles:)

I heard the girls singing into this fan. I knew I had to bring my camera with me when I went in to look at them. I LOVE that their arms are around each other!

Did you know that Texas has their own Christmas books? I'm pretty sure they have their own Santa too...

Big and Bright

Well here we are, deep in the heart of TEXAS!! We have been here for 5 days and have had sooo much fun so far.  I was super happy that Daniel was able to spend a few days here and it was sad to see him leave yesterday:(
Its so great to be with family! Until yesterday, the weather was up to 70! Its still chilly, but nowhere near as cold as that we are used to in Idaho. We are loving the weather and LOVING the company we are in:)

Glitter and Oatmeal

This blog post is mainly for my dad. When I was little I called oatmeal "oytmeal" and my dad was sooooo sad the day I realized I'd been saying it wrong for 12 years. (Yeah, my parents let me call it oytmeal for TWELVE years...) ANYway, this is my cute nephew, Braden. I was thrilled when he told me that there is oytmeal in his reindeer food and i knew my dad would be too;)

Isn't She Lovely?

For all the trouble she is, she sure is worth it!

ps. she put this lipstick on all by herself. I think she did a fine job!

pps. she made all these faces herself. No prompts from me whatsoever.
